It could not have been more perfect. All of their family and friends surrounded them as Kayla and her dad paused for a brief moment. There they were, standing at the end of the aisle – looking through the two trees that they had walked through many times before, on their way to campfires, family reunions, birthday parties and anniversaries. This time, it was different. They were walking through those two trees, being greeting by all the people in the world who mattered the most, and in a few short minutes, he’d be giving away his daughter. It was only a second, but in that moment, every memory the two of them shared together flashed before his eyes. He looked at Kayla, this was her moment. She look beautiful … and happy … and in that moment, a big smile crept across his face. It won’t be the last time they walk through those trees together … but arguably, this was the most important. They both looked at each other, let out big laughs … this is a moment they will both remember for the rest of their lives.
Kenny & Kayla were married on beautiful day in July behind her grandmother’s house in Erskine. A place that Kayla and her family hold dear to their heart. Months and months of preparations had led them to this day – and it was full of laughter, big hugs and love. Kenny is so sweet to Kayla, even though he looks like a tough old cowboy – he has a heart the size of Texas, and I know he’d do anything to make Kayla happy. The two of them together are perfect harmony. Their sense of humour, bad jokes and slightly redneck tendencies make them a perfect pair. Thank you asking me to share your wedding day with you. It was amazing. We had a such a blast and I couldn’t be happier to know the two of you – and I wish you nothing but the best for the rest of your life!
Much Love and Appreciation,
Kayla tied her grandma’s necklace into her bouquet – the perfect way to honour her grandmother …. and the purple and blue flowers were stunning!!
Nothing says love like a little bum-grab …
Kenny had to have cows in his picture, and knowing him from 4-H days – I tend to agree — Cows are very photogenic … and I happen to love them as much as I love weddings! I was thrilled that our next location was at a pasture – in the middle of the prairies – its like we were taking pictures in heaven …. (and his cows are black – so I love them even more!!)
My favourite. Hands down. I love the cows, the grass, the sky … and Kenny and Kayla. You guys nailed it.
Nothing says good time on the prairies like trucks and and a beer…
Kenny and Kayla had a massive amount of help decorating the Westwoods Hall … and it was gorgeous … right down to the breathtaking chandelier …And after the first dance – Kenny and groomsmen got the party started with a little “red solo cup” dance …
and the party lasted into the wee hours of the morning. Celebrating these two is easy.
